Club Polo (New Design)

$60.00

City of Perth Swimming Club acknowledges the Whadjuk Noongar people as the Traditional Custodians of the land and waters on which we  train, race and gather. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and recognise their ongoing connection to country, community, and culture.

Our new club polo features licensed artwork by renowned aboriginal artist Kevin Bynder. The design, Birak–Bunuru, represents the transition between the Noongar seasons of Birak and Bunuru. It reflects the drying of the land, the still waterholes, the Kaata Morda (Darling Range) believed to be the resting body of the Waagyl, the river communities, and the shifting sand dunes. It also honours the journeys of Kevin’s ancestors who travelled to the coast during the hottest months for cooler conditions and nourishment.

We are honoured to have collaborated with Kevin through Mardaa, a First Nations–owned business dedicated to purposeful Indigenous storytelling. A portion of proceeds from each shirt contributes to the Mardaa Fund, supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Note that this item is part of the bulk order and ETA is 5 weeks from the date the club places the order and as per club uniform policy. Any items that are in stock will be delivered straight away, first in first served.
