Meet Our Assistant Coach

Meg Hobson

My swimming journey commenced in 2020 when I embarked on my Austswim teaching certification. Inspired by my experience assisting an age group at Surf Life Saving, I ventured into teaching at various swim schools. As I honed my skills, I found myself drawn to working with proficient swimmers in the learn-to-swim program, sparking my interest in coaching.

In June 2023, I began shadowing Eoin Carroll, the Head Coach at the City of Perth Swimming Club and subsequently obtained my development coaching qualification. Coaching swimming seamlessly melds my fascination with anatomy and physiology with my love for sports.

I thrive on coaching enthusiastic swimmers who are eager to excel and are deeply committed to their sport. Connecting with swimmers who are proactive and driven towards achieving their goals is immensely rewarding for me.

Outside of the pool, you can find me coaching nippers and indulging in my passion for cycling.
